Done For

All of this is over, all of this now broken
There's a need to break whatever we have always spoken.
The road to moving ain't easy and the steps we take are slow,
That's why we need the guidance of the one who shapes tomorrow.
The fruit of all our labor was but all a stupid entity,
A tragedy revolving 'round sorrow, pain, and subtlety.
I do know what is right, yet I do not want to hate,
Yet I know that in further times I would learn to compensate,
For these are things we shouldn't go back to
We kept on doing, yet now we should not redo
No longer entertain the thoughts and doubts in mind
Condition our hearts to no longer press the button of rewind.
The sands of time are flowing, let's not go sinking in
Hold on to whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of all sins.
