Enough of that.

Hey guys it's an update by me. I've got nothing to do and we still don't have internet connection, so there. I've got tons of new deviations and stuff: More FE6 Remake demands, ballpen drawings, wallpapers (a Lucia wallpaper!) and some more others.

The summer blues make me feel bad, mainly because there's nothing to do, but summer only lasts 60 days, and when school's back again you'll be waiting for summer again. Sigh.

And now I'm raving on YELLOWCARD, the coolest band ever. Even if they're on a hiatus (they're gone for a while) I still like their songs, especially their album 'Lights and Sounds'. Many people may prefer 'Ocean Avenue' album from it, but I find that album has so much meaning.

This song they had titled 'Rock Star Land' is about them wanting to go to California and never come back home, that was in their old album while the one in the 'Lights and Sounds' album titled 'Back Home' is about how they want to go back home and they described the rock star life as "There's nothing good to see here." Some of their other songs (Well, almost all of 'em) I can relate to. Here are my favorites:

:::Rocket (Underdog EP album) - this song's got so much to it! Even if people find the lyrics 'I slip another smile in your pocket, my heart is racing to you like a rocket' kind of absurd, the way Ryan Key sang it was full of emotion. To all reading this journal, you have to listen to this song.

:::Life of A Salesman (Ocean Avenue) - this song is about a father's love. I never felt that love, since my father went to America to find a job when I was...umm...2 years old--until now when I'm already 15. I never really remembered any memory we had together, but my siblings would tell me that he would carry me on his shoulders and play with me at the park--although those memories are lost in my head now. This song makes me want to have that love of a father...

:::Firewater (Punk Goes Acoustic) - an emo song LOLOLOL. "Can I swallow this bottle whole? So this brain in my head can forget your face?" It's a fun song, but it's emo but is still funny.

:::Words, Hands, Hearts (L&S) - This song has so much meaning and it's a great song. The first time you would listen to it, you wouldn't like it much but when you listen to the LYRICS, you'll find a whole lot meaning behind it. I prefer those songs with great lyrics unlike songs from Blink 182 and other bands. That's why I like this band's songs. So does Relient K's songs!

:::Space Travel (L&S) - This is awesome. You might think it's about love, but it's actually wanting to go back home--the main theme of the album 'Lights and Sounds'.

So that's all of it. I'm kind of sleepy now. Zzz. More updates soon and I'll tell you guys whenever we have internet connection so I'd be more active in DA! (Though it would be a long while...)

- my older sister who's got way lot of talent in drawing and fiction. She's got Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy 7, original character and some more traditional and digital art (mostly Fire Emblem).

- our cousin that introduced both me and ~kageshoujo in DA! He's an awesome graphic artist. He makes stuff digitally and does also well with Flash work. Take a look at his deviations for some cool finds.

- my sister, ~kageshoujo's friend in high school. He does well with the TRADITIONAL art, and extremely well with making portraits! He's also new to DA so welcome him!
